Trivia in the Daily Challenge

There is a new puzzle every day. Each one is built around the same anchor star and a salary cap, so how well you solve the puzzle shapes which season of the star you get and what is left to spend on the other four teammates.

The formats rotate through seven unique mini-games:

• Mystery Legend: Guess the mystery player from a series of clues.
• Climb: Evaluate player stats and see how far you can climb.
• Scout: Use a scouting dossier clue by clue until you can identify the player.
• The Trophy: Claim all twelve linked plaques and achievements by solving each one.
• Cliques: Sort sixteen players into four connected groups.
• Board: Complete the grid by matching players to teams and various career achievements.
• Roll Call: Five questions about who these players are, including where they played college, who drafted them, and what number they wore.

Common questions

Is Legacy Run free? Yes. The core Legacy Run game is free to play, with no account required. Expert Mode and the Salary Cap are free and can be turned on with any draft mode. Pro unlocks additional modes, advanced scouting and pro statistics, customization, dynasty and team saves, and an ad-free experience.

Do I need an account? No. There is no sign-up, and the game never asks for your name or email. Your streak and saved teams live in your own browser. See the privacy policy for details.

Are these real players? Yes. Every player is a single real pro season with that season's actual stats, from the public Basketball-Reference-derived dataset by Sumitro Datta (Creative Commons).
