Legacy Run is a free basketball game. You spin for real team-seasons, draft five players from any era, and a rating engine calibrated on real pro basketball plays out how far that five would go.
Every card in the game is one specific season. The 2015-16 Stephen Curry you draft is that MVP year, with that year's real stats. The engine is calibrated against real teams from league history, so the win total your five posts is a realistic one.
You get one trade each season, with a value gate that keeps deals fair: incoming salary has to roughly match, and young players cost extra for their upside, so you cannot endlessly flip prospects for win-now stars.
The engine plays a full 82-game season with realistic hot and cold streaks, then a playoff bracket against real playoff teams from league history. Win it all and you raise a banner and get a shareable result card.
After any season you can keep your five and run it back. Players age each year the way real careers age, and every title you win pulls stronger real teams into your next playoff bracket, so defending a crown gets harder the more of them you hold. The skill is knowing when to trade for youth and how to develop your team over time.
There is a new puzzle every day. Each one is built around the same anchor star and a salary cap, so how well you solve the puzzle shapes which season of him you get and what is left to spend on the other four. The formats rotate through six games: guess a mystery legend, a higher-or-lower stat ladder, a scouting dossier you open clue by clue, a grid of teams and achievements, a trophy of ten linked plaques to claim, and sorting sixteen players into four groups. Everyone gets the same puzzle each day, and every result gives you a spoiler-free emoji grid to share.
