Legacy Run is an independent basketball game about one question: if you could put any five seasons in pro basketball history on the same team, how good would that team actually be?
Legacy Run is a pro basketball draft sim where spacing, defense, usage, and fit actually matter. It's free to play and runs on a back-tested engine, checked against more than 1,600 real team-seasons. You can't just stack five scorers and cruise. Bad-fit teams lose games the same way they would in real life.
Every run also gets a scouting report. It tells you what your five does well, where it's weak, and which problem is costing you the most wins.
Legacy Run is a small independent project. It is free, needs no account, and runs entirely in your browser. Player statistics come from the public Basketball-Reference-derived dataset by Sumitro Datta, released under a Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike license. The game uses no team logos and no player likenesses.
Legacy Run is fan-made. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the National Basketball Association or any team or player. All team and player references are used for identification and commentary only.
